THE CATALOG OF COPYRIGHT ENTRIES

Registrations from 1929 to 1949

This page contains links to copyright registration records in the Catalog of Copyright Entries and other sources, from 1929 to 1949. Original copyrights from these years may still be in force if they were renewed, or if they were exempt from renewal requirements. Copyrights from earlier years that were renewed during this time period have expired in the US. See this page for more details.

More recent copyright registrations (from 1950 and later) are also available via this site, as are historic registrations from 1928 and earlier (all of which have by now expired).

Below we link to scans of the volumes, provided by Google and the Internet Archive. In some cases, more than one scan of a volume exists. Let me know if you want me to search for or link additional copies. (since not all the volumes below scanned perfectly). Note that the catalog sometimes lags behind registrations; for instance, a copyright registered late in 1929 might not appear in the catalog until a 1930 volume.
