Copyright renewals made in 1954 will be available from this page. Renewals in 1954 were classified by category.

Original copyrights date from 1926 and 1927. 1926 copyrights could also be renewed in 1953, and 1927 copyrights could also be renewed in 1955.

The following types of renewal records will be available here:

• Drama and Works Prepared for Oral Delivery (29 pages)
• Artwork and photographs (? pages)

Copyright renewals also exist for music, film, commercial prints, and certain other categories. We have no immediate plans to digitize these, since we're mainly interested in book renewals at this point. If you want to digitize these, though, contact onlinebooks@pobox.upenn.edu.
